The design of the PneumaticWalker™ incorporates a unique combination of support, protection, and compression. The durable semi-rigid shell helps support the limb and provides full-shell protection. The shell's rocker sole helps reduce plantar pressures. Lining the shell are four aircells for pneumatic support and increased comfort. The aircells can be custom inflated using the hand bulb (included) for a "total contact" fit.

Aircast pioneered the functional management of lower leg fractures with the development of the first prefabricated walking brace — the PneumaticWalker.

Two socks are included with each PneumaticWalker.

The Cryo/Cuff for Walking Brace can be used in conjunction with the PneumaticWalker to add the benefits of cold and compression. Walking Brace Extension Straps are also available to increase the strap length by 4" (10 cm).
